The Dirty Duathlon Take 2
It had been six years since he last raced this Austin Classic and fortunately his mountain bike skills have improved. A strong first run set him up for a solid race and it came down to the wire. Jamie ran out of room and narrowly missed 2nd place. Check out the complete results here.
Cleveland Elected to Austin Triathletes Board
Austin Triathletes held their annual elections and Jamie was elected to the board along with returning members Cam Ray and Joey Trimyer. Back from Injury
After a very frustrating 10 weeks, Jamie has returned to training following an accute Achilles injury. 2006 is pretty much history but he is excited and confident about 2007. Thank you to everyone who supported Jamie in this trying time.
Ironman Lake Placid
A near perfect build-up to Ironman Lake Placid had Jamie hopeful heading into Sunday's Ironman USA. Unfortunately it was only near perfect as he injured his Achilles tendon two weeks out. He survived nine miles into the run before the stubborn injury forced him to withdraw. Its not all bad as he did manage to get eight miles further than he thought he would. He's back to Austin now to prepare for the Xterra Mid-west Championship on August 6.
Jamie wins bragging rights in Texas
Despite a couple of wrong turns, Jamie got it done at the Capital of Texas Triathlon. This year's race drew a record 2600 athletes competing in downtown Austin for the Memorial Day classic. You can find complete results here or read how the race unfolded .
Cleveland cracks the top 5 in Baja
Last weekend Jamie and a group of 20 Texas Iron athletes headed down to Ensanada Mexico for the inaugural Baja 70.3 race. Despite a difficult course, a competitive field, and a wrong turn, he raced well and finished 5th in a time of 4:11.43. You can find complete results for Jamie and all the Texas Iron athletes here. Rustman in Lousiana
What do you get when you cross an Ironman with off road racing and a whole lot of rain? Well it looks a lot like your garden variety gnome but it's in actual fact the Louisiana Rustman and Jamie won it over the weekend with Victories in the Gator Terra Off Road Triathlon (Xterra), the Hidden Paradise Sprint Triathlon and the Lincoln 5km run. His combined time from the three events earned him bragging rights and ownership of this little sprite.

BTU Triathlon
His performance wasn't pretty but Jamie managed to change gears from Ironman and win the 3rd annual BTU Sprint Triathlon. A morning HR 24 beats higher than normal was just the begining as Jamie dodged mountain bikers, spectators and his competition. You can find complete results from the race here.
Richardson Bike Mart
Jamie and Andrea were at Richardson Bike Mart Thursday April 20 for Total Triathlon Night. They hung around and met local members of the greater Dallas triathlon community and answered questions about training, racing and the gear they love.

Jamie wins his home-opener
Chilly temperatures meant waking up to ice on the bike seats but that didn't slow down Jamie or Fish as they both captured their respective titles at the Texas State Triathlon at Canyon Lake. The real story of the day was 16 year old Andrew Yoder who finished third overall. Check out the complete results here.
